As our Easter services were all outdoor events we were unable to film them. Therefore we we have prepared some Life Group Material for you to use. Hopefully this will give you the essence of Riverside's teaching over this wonderful time of celebration.
On this Palm Sunday Darren looks at the wider implications of the Exile and the impact it had on the Jewish People. As Jesus enters Jerusalem he is in fact weeping because the Jews have learned nothing from their experience in Babylon. They are so far from God that even when he steps into their presence the miss him.
As we journey towards Easter we are looking at a theme that is woven throughout Scripture. It is a theme based on the experiences of people who choose not to remain faithful to God. It is the consequence of choosing to walk away from God's love, care and protection. This Easter we are going to look at Exile and more importantly the lengths that God has gone to bring us home.
This is Darren's first Sunday back after his trip to the UK to take part in the 252nd session of the International College for Officers (ICO). He has chosen to share some of his experiences and also the lessons he has taken on board from sharing with officers from 27 countries around the world. He was humbled and inspired by his colleagues and hopes that their wisdom and devotion can change the direction of Riverside.

Brick and bones will break my bones but words can never hurt me. We've all heard this and we all know it's not true. Words have the power to destroy and bring pain for decades and even generations. But words also have the power to bring life and hope, to build people up. We need to harness the power of our words!
Toxic relationships can be so very hard to handle. Josh brings some amazing teaching on how to handle the toxicity and deal with the person. Listen, enjoy and learn.
